The focus of my videos are to bring the beautiful Macedonian Landscape to you, to show you the source of the inspiration for my artworks here and my creations from them.
I gave myself a day to work on this oil painting and complete it using the wet in wet technique or “alla prima”. The canvas 30cm x 40cm, and it was pretty hard going I must say, a lot of details in there to sort out, but I got there. Enjoyable piece to work on.
When you come into Matka you will be met by a couple of restaurants and the bridge over the Treska, the first one that is, the other is blue, smaller and further up. This first bridge will connect you to paths on the other side and an island in the middle. there is a house on the bridge, or at the bridge, it’s interesting.
The painting is made in a demo style or how to paint style in my studio, but not heavy on the teaching aspect – to show you how I created the painting.
My hope is that it will be entertaining, educational and helpful.
